Usage Guide

Get the most accurate results from Pro AI Detector with these best practices and tips.

Getting Started

Using Pro AI Detector is straightforward. Navigate to the detector on our home page, paste your text into the analysis field, and click Analyze Text. Results typically appear within 2-3 seconds.

Optimal Text Length

For the most reliable results, submit text that is at least 100 words long. Our analysis accuracy improves with longer texts because statistical patterns become more pronounced and reliable with larger sample sizes. Texts of 300 words or more generally produce the highest confidence results.

Understanding Your Results

The overall AI probability score ranges from 0% (likely human) to 100% (likely AI). Scores below 30% strongly suggest human authorship. Scores between 30% and 70% indicate mixed or uncertain results, which may warrant closer review. Scores above 70% suggest the text was likely generated by an AI model.

Sentence-Level Analysis

Below the overall score, you will find individual sentence scores. This breakdown is especially useful for identifying mixed content where some sections are human-written and others are AI-generated. Look for clusters of high-scoring sentences to identify likely AI-authored passages.

Interpreting Metrics

The three supporting metrics provide additional context. Perplexity measures word choice predictability, with lower values suggesting AI. Burstiness measures sentence variation, with lower values indicating more uniform AI-style writing. Entropy measures vocabulary diversity, with lower values suggesting AI patterns.

Tips for Accuracy

Avoid submitting text with heavy formatting, code snippets, or non-standard characters, as these can affect analysis. If analyzing a longer document, consider checking key sections individually for more granular results. Re-running analysis on the same text will produce consistent results, as our algorithms are deterministic.

Limitations to Keep in Mind

No AI detector is 100% accurate. Results should be interpreted as probabilistic assessments rather than definitive verdicts. Technical content, formulaic writing, and non-native English text may occasionally produce unexpected scores. Always use detection results as one input among several when making important decisions.
